Our Cruise FAQ Will Help You Prepare for Your Trip
Have you always wanted to go on a cruise but too many unknowns keep you from pursuing that dream? Not sure if you can afford it? Is a cruise really for you? Do you have questions about going on a cruise, but not sure who to ask? I’m here to help! To start, here is a list of cruise FAQ.
1. How much money will I need to take with me on my cruise?
This depends on which line and package you choose. Some of them are completely all-inclusive, including tips, food, beverages including alcohol, etc. Take my Ideal Cruise Planner free quiz and I’ll help determine which is best for you.
2. How long do cruises last?
A cruise can be for just a few days or weeks and months. It completely depends on what you want to do.
3. Do I need a passport to take a cruise?
As long as you start and end your cruise on U.S. soil, you don’t need a passport. However, having a passport when traveling is usually recommended by the cruise lines.
4. Will I feel claustrophobic on a cruise ship?
Cruise ships are essentially floating hotels. In fact, some of them have more square footage than an average hotel, and they have many more amenities than a hotel. If you aren’t claustrophobic in a hotel, you won’t be on the ship.
5. Is a cruise something I can afford?
Many cruise lines offer a whole range of different cruises, many starting at very reasonable prices. There are so many options, with different destinations, lengths of time, different departure ports, and different kinds of accommodations. Many cruise lines even offer payment plans that simply require an initial deposit to get started. With so many options to choose from, I am confident that I can help you find the perfect cruise to fit your budget.
